Maine Bobcat..

Useless trivia: from 1978 - 1982, NJ brought in to our state 24 Maine bobcats to replace our extirpated population.  Today, we are overrun with them in numbers, but they remain state endangered due to the fact they have never bred with NY or PA bobcats and spread out their original genetics. It’s getting silly because of how many we have in the northern parts of the state.
