Chef Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Seems like we have a big storm coming Friday night into Saturday am. Heavy rain and winds with the rain breaking mid morning Saturday morning. I’m thinking windy Saturday afternoon with dropping temps should get things moving. Things should really get nuts Sunday and Monday with the temps falling and pressure rising. Overall I think this is the big front we need Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk grampy, mowin, corydd7 and 2 others 5
BowmanMike Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Couldn't agree more and the leaves will be quiet until they freeze hard. I will be out as much as possible, buck time!!!
Arcade Hunter Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Thats a similar report for WNY also. My long time hunting friend and I are going out around noon on Saturday to some state land in Wyoming county. Later in the day the lake effect rain is to be starting up, changing to snow over night . Im giving it a break today... its 70 and windy out, starting to burn out. BowmanMike 1
Doebuck1234 Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Haven't hunted much this year and thinking about burning a vac day for tomorrow.the plan for me would be to hunt Tom morning before the rain starts and either Saturday morning or afternoon .possibly Sunday morning aswell
Nomad Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I’ll be out tomorrow morning , Sunday morning ( maybe all day ) Monday we’ll see . cervidchasers 1
Bolt Action Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 This weather has been too nice to pass up. I just finished staining the deck. Saturday afternoon we pick up the new camper.. so with the weather, that leaves Sunday morning for me to bag a beast. Nomad 1
mowin Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Those bucks are gonna be moving after the rain stops early Saturday. Checking scrapes, and searching. I haven't had a good buck on cam in two days. I'm hoping the lock down phase hasn't started.
J-B Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I will be out on Saturday. I usually try to get in a little before the rain quits. Hopefully this front gets them on their feet. Good Luck Everyone!
Moho81 Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 My area has the rain stopping Saturday by 6am. I was going to hunt all day Saturday but I might skip Saturday morning to take care of some things then hunt Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.
Robhuntandfish Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I plan on hunting tomorrow morn then back out Sat afternoon as long as Jim Cantore isn't doing a live feed at my hunting spot. Hunterdan44 Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I’ll be out after it stops. Hope it gives my area a much needed boost.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chef Posted November 10, 2022 Author Posted November 10, 2022 I have a forum member making a guest appearance at my honey hole on Saturday. Going to be putting him in my best stand Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Robhuntandfish, Bolt Action, grampy and 2 others 5
mlamm24 Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Our rain in WnY isn't starting until mid morning Sat.....and looks like a washout the rest of the day. Hitting a new spot with the xbow in the morning.....we are running two cams and have put boots on the ground so we should be in a decent spot if the deer wanna play along.Sent from my SM-A716V using Tapatalk Arcade Hunter 1
GreeneHunter Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I had planned to be out Saturday morning , maybe call it off till Sunday . Have Wifey duties Saturday afternoon (take out to dinner , not the other thing !)
Bolt Action Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Just looked at the forecast again. It went from bad to worse. Now Sunday looks like a wash out.
