sbuff
I always go back and forth on buying a new Turkey gun but my single barrel 12 gauge NEF with fixed modified barrel is just a very accurate Turkey killing machine with several different brands of ammo . Have actually use it for ducks and small game with great results too . Anyone else use one .... LET EM GROW

Called them and they had me ship it back on their dime. Turns out the crown wasn't cut correctly. They put a new barrel on it and gave me a coupon for 500 rounds of ammo. Now this was 15yrs ago, but what fantastic CS. Doesn't answer your question, but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one if needed. sbuff
Farflung
me and my buddy have 2. Both in.308, with 4X scopes on them. Mine is the heavier target barrel and his is more of a sporter profile. Both are around 1 1/2 to 2 inch at 100 yds with Federal fusion. Backup guns in case one of our scopes goes up. most of our shots are under 50 yards. phade
I have my two H&R for slug guns and one .410. It’s a damn shame they got put out to pasture. The Stevens 301s have been flying off the shelf for us in the last year. Mostly the .410 but also now seeing the 20g be really popular. Just ordered one in for a guy that will dedicate it to Turkey. My partner moved into the .410 option and it’s a nice light piece. I have the Rossi but I really have been struggling with a good pattern. I think I have a barrel issue but no shot in hell getting it serviced / fixed at that price point. LET EM GROW

phade
Buddy has a 10g single shot. I’ve shot 10g twice in my life. Once AS THE FIRST gun I ever shot. Great idea by my dad and uncle. Took me a decade to get over flinching issues that arose from that. Knocked me on my butt. Then tried it again a couple years ago. Nope. Hard pass. No need to act like it does something that others can’t. Eff that.
LET EM GROW
Im a sucker for single shot guns! Just picked up a 410 Pardner with fixed full barrel. It will be a small game killer for sure. I plan to pick up a 12,16 and 20 to go with it. I dont know what it is about single shots, shotguns or rifles I just love them. My favorite turkey gun is the 301 stevens.. Lightweight and deadly Swamp_bucks

My H&R 30-06 is the one they all have tried to purchase from me.
