Buckmaster7600 Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 who else is running a optic on their turkey guns? I know I will never hunt turkeys without one on my gun. A quality optic is as reliable as a bead wand much better for “aiming” at a turkeys head. LET EM GROW and nywaw 2
mowin Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Burris FF3 on my 1100. My eyes are not as good as they used to be. Made a word of difference.
phade Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Reflex sites are popular now. FF3 and 4 and Holosun. I’ve had good luck with low end imports on .410s based on feedback from clients. I had a scope go bad on my 12g the weekend before season a long time ago and bought one of those ugly looking truglo red dots and it’s been reliable ever since so I will not mess with it.
LET EM GROW Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 (edited) FF3 when i can afford them. Lol. Right now on ebay they can be had for $155 nib! Cant beat that. I use cheap amazon "Sniper" model reflex on my little 410 shotguns. Not quite as bright in bright sunny days, but otherwise. solid little pieces for 39$ And little is right, they are the same size as the FF3 or a tad smaller. I did recently make a few mounts to lower the optic down on my single shot Stevens and Rossi guns.. Red dots/Reflex for me are a must for turkey hunting! virgil Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Tru Glo Gobbler Stopper on my Benelli. Started using it two years ago and i'll never go back. i bought a new shotgun for waterfowl so i can leave the optic on my 'turkey gun'.
Pygmy Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 I run a Leupold VX 11 1x4 on my REm 11-87 SP....
