Stud 8pt

Everyone seems to love a big 8pt.  It takes a well rounded one to hit the 140 mark. This Yates County bruiser grosses 143. It was actually taken by my brother in law on opening  morning of gun. Originally, he was just a cape donor and destined to be a euro mount until my wife talked some sense into him! Lol.

Yep my uncle (retired taxidermist now) told me same  a 140 on a 8 is a true trophy! Glad he decided to get it mounted!

A clean 140 8 is really nice and pretty rare all things considered. It’s also really amazing to see the difference between a 130 8 and  a 140 8. It “looks” a lot bigger.
