Popular Post mowin
My oldest brother and I have been going to breakfast together for 8+ yrs on Tuesday's. We've missed the last several months of those Tuesday's because he's battling cancer. I've gone over there for b-fast, but it's not the same. I know tomorrow isn't Tuesday, but he's feeling strong enough to go tomorrow morning. I'm picking him up tomorrow morning at 7. So looking forward to breakfast. Robhuntandfish
Get out there everyday for breakfast that you can make it. Great way to spend a morning for sure. My best friend, who is like my own brother and have known for 40 years is battling cancer as well. We are planning on some good days on the water soon. One of these days him and I will both be retired and having breakfast at Flo's diner ourselves. He is supposed to retire in Nov. Best of luck to him and have a great breakfast tomorrow. mowin and The_Real_TCIII 1 1 "it's pointless for humans to paint scenes of nature when they can go outside and stand in it"- Ron Swanson

crappyice
Good for you guys for having that tradition - sucks it's been interrupted. we (that's the universal, collective "we") wait for bullshit to happen to find these traditions often - no reason for that. Stubborn1vt
Breakfast sounds like a very good tradition. Most of the memories I have of my brother and I all involve work. Hope you two get plenty more breakfasts together, no matter what day of the week. F cancer for sure. mowin
mowin
Shit... Just found out my brothers cancer may have spread to his liver. He didn't want to tell me the outcome the MRI. It shows spots on his liver that the oncologist says could be nothing, but most likely the cancer has spread. His son just called me after he pulled the truth from his dad. Wolc123
My sister has been living with a similar type (pancreas and liver cancer) for a few years now. Roswell sent her for some experimental treatment in Boston for a while, but they gave up on that and are now treating her with something different in Buffalo. She goes in there every other week or so for treatments. She gets around ok, but is very tired all the time. We pray for her and others suffering with this and other illnesses, quite a bit, but could always use more of that. It’s especially tough on my parents. mowin and Robhuntandfish 1

He is 1/2 thru his second round of chemo and after that they are going to access what is there. He also has to have a surgery for the colon cancer yet. Hopefully by early summer he is done with it. Best of luck to your family in all of this. mowin 1 "it's pointless for humans to paint scenes of nature when they can go outside and stand in it"- Ron Swanson
