My Iceland article just came out of The Flyfish Journal's publication exclusivity so I put it up on Gotham Canoe.

It's about me losing my mind while chasing seatrout.

(Mods, let me know if this uncool and I'll delete.)

The power of the (well) written word. I got to relive my Iceland trip. Thanks

Fantastic article! I do enjoy your writing and like usual I even had to look up a word .

This quote about fishing sums up my feelings often with fishing and hunting.

"provides a socially acceptable reason for standing in the middle of the beautiful nowhere silently screaming, “Holy shit! Look at where I am!” "

I travel , hike, and visit all sorts of places in these pursuits,  even when the chance at game or a fish is slim, I just want to see what's over there. One of my best friends, a proud redneck trashman/ truckdriver, will occompany me on occasion.  Don't tell him we are really just going sight seeing.. ;)
