My Bow

My bow and I have been through a lot together

My bow is always ready for an adventure

We have spent countless hours together hunting and on the range

Both of us are worn from age

Honest wear from time spent outdoors

Many of my best memories involve my bow

We have been friends for many years

A Friendship only an Archer could understand

My bow has always shot an arrow better than I

Always challenging me to improve

We have seen some beautiful sights together

For everything I have received, my bow does not ask for much in return

Just an old stick and string to some, But to me a good old friend
