mowin
Wife and I went to breakfast, and probably 1/2 mile from the farms I hunt there had to be 100 birds in two separate flocks. Couldn't stop to get a pic because of traffic. On the way back they had dispersed but was able to get a couple pictures. Going to be a good yr. Hopefully I can target a limb hanger. Going to drive by tomorrow morning and see if I can get a pic of the entire flock. 2012-Taco
I was thinking the same thing, yesterday went for a drive and passed two different flocks of birds and there had to be at least 30 birds in each flock! It looks like the bird numbers are going back up, finally! Edited March 9, 2023 by 2012-Taco Spelling blackbeltbill and mowin

All the birds in my area head to a couple horse farms and a dairy farm to winter. I won't see a turkey or any tracks in the areas I hunt from late November to mid March. They are just starting to move from those farms as things green up. Within a week or so if the weather cooperates, I'll start seeing birds on the farms I hunt. No reason to scout my areas until April. 2012-Taco and blackbeltbill
Belo
I had a large flock make an appearance a few weeks ago when we had a nice sunny day, but its been quiet of late. This morning was the first morning I heard song birds in a while on my back deck. That was a nice sound. I was in KY last week and NC this week and their grass is already starting to grow. There's that spring smell in the air and trees and the dreaded pollen are out. Exciting! mowin 1 "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" Luke 6:31 and Matthew 7:
