Bucksnbows
I realize this site is more of a “hook and bullet” site and that’s just fine. But I’m sure there are some that care for our native fish species - gamefish or non. The NFC is an organization I have been involved with since nearly its inception, first serving on their Advisory Board as a fish habitat specialist. I still serve in that role. Last year, I started and chaired for a short time the New Jersey chapter. More recently, I moved into the roll of national Vice Chair - North. We currently have state chapters from Maine to Alabama and west to Ohio with Michigan coming soon. We do advocacy work, public education and are working on an outline for holistic approaches to watershed based restoration of imperiled fish species often at odds with previously introduced non native species. We have an active chapter in NY led by chair, Scott Daskiewich. Check us out as the organization is growing rapidly. lucky118
My buddy was an Adirondack fish nazi. I always told him I was going to start hiking some walleye back in to put in his favorite lake. He didn't see the humor. Lol Bucksnbows
