With those that have actually seen the buck vouching for it, seems the man just doesnt care about record book.  Perhaps there are more hiding  on someone's wall who just doesnt care about score.  Let alone the high fence deer killed amd on walls whose hunter has passed and head changed hands or is in an attic forgotten.  At least this rack is well recognized and ibwonder if his heirs will  enter it when he passes. And the truth wiĺl be revield.

I’m still not sure where I land on it, the whole thing kind of tarnished the idea of “world records” for me.

I still think the Hanson buck is a more impressive rack, regardless of score.

If the rompola buck story ever get answered it to me will have a bad ending. Either a hunter that lied or a hunter that was cut down for something he was right about and didn’t care to prove.

Mitch is my kind of guy ! The fact that others cant wrap their heads around why he would pass up this and that money or fame wise ,just confirms that he’s my kind of guy .

I always laugh at “ world record “ in deer hunting . Who actually owns that title ? No one ,it’s all according to this one’s rules or that ones lol .

Sorry your deer is clearly bigger, but it doesn’t meet our rules lol  . it’s either bigger or not .

I truely understand Mitch he gives a big middle finger to all that’s wrong with todays deer hunting .

That was a challenge  by a individual to donate 10 k to  a charity .  Same guy that had  his buck pulled from  record books  for illegal  activity.  Personal vendetta?

The lawyers for hanson had a document drawn up he signed.  Why go thru that expense and time if your sure it was fake. ..  man was born in late 40s  i believe.  Im sure upon death more information or rescore will happen

Im more impressed romploa consistantly took large  bucks

. Hansons seemed a fluke amd lucky he didnt shoot antler off if i remember correctly
