Belo
Anyone have a tree that leans back, but it's the best tree in the area and you don't have any other options? I have a hang on in one now but because it's slanted back and the seat of course is cinched tight to the tree, the platform pivots up creating a ramp like effect. It's not uncomfortable to stand on, but not exactly nice either as I'm not as flat footed and as versatile to pivot as I'd like. Has anyone found a stand with an adjustable angle for these kinds of trees? grampy
A ladderstand will give you a level platform. But the tree will slope either away, or toward your back. dbHunterNY and GreeneHunter

dbHunterNY
i have a lonewolf alpha hangon. not sure what the equivalent model would be now. the platform adjusts past level to be level against a back leaning tree. theres a bolt that works like a stopper for leveling the seat too. you just screw it in further by hand. stand looks very similar to the XOP stand that Jeremy posted. feel like i remember somewhere posted that XOP is china based so maybe it's basically the same as lonewolf design. maybe patents that ran out? phade
All of the premium brand hang ons will have the ability to level set, using offset brackets, batwings or similar. I hate it when that happens. Most of the time it’s on a smaller diameter tree too. Ladder stands as noted can also work. I have some ladder stands where they are at really awkward angles but at the platform and seat, are nice and level.
Swamp_bucks
The XOPs and Lone wolfs are really nice for those situations. I’ve never put my hands on a beast stand but from what I’ve read about them and review of them they are great. Belo

I don't trust anyone with giant rubber plugs in their ears, let alone trust my life with them haha. I'm just not a huge fan of ladder stands. They stick out more than I'd like and usually don't get as high as I'd like either. I'll take more of a look around. I have been buying the muddy xl stands. They're pretty basic but decent quality and price, just not any fancy features. It's sad there were some great products that you can't find anymore. My dad has a few of these treestand blinds that fold up from the bottom. They're great at breaking up your silhouette, but you can't buy them anymore. Live to Hunt
Ladder stands or a box blind are the only way I hunt now. I made it through my younger years with only one minor slide down a tree. Older and and little more wiser these days. grampy, Big Paul and Wolc123 2
