They can definitely pick out movement.

Never bought into the sport wash, UV bull.

Never been picked out if I'm still.  Have birds within a few feet of me every yr with no issues.

Old guy in town never wears camo.  Dickies work pants and shirt, a dark blue coat and kills a bird or two every year. It's not what you wear, or what you treat it with, it's woodsman ship and knowledge of your quarry.

I have the last two above.  I wear Green pants sometimes- but no Bluejeans.

Neighbor has killed turkeys since season opened  in nys wearing green plaid jacket and bluejeans and black rubber over boots..   can turkeys see? Yep but its much more about movement same as deer  hunting.... camo is made for hunters eyes..

Deer are brown  and white and can dissappear easier than many wearing camo.

How many turkey look like stumps until they move in the morning light?

I’m on team no camo. I don’t wear a face mask/face paint. I wash my clothes in tide “same as I do for deer.” I personally don’t think turkeys have good eyesight like we hear people say. I think turkeys are capable of picking up on bad “IE predatory” movement at a pretty good distance. I also think that when a Tom is in that “want to die” mode they think any movement is a hen. I’ve had many toms come running in that I think saw me moving on them while I was calling. Only explanation I’ve came up with is they saw the movement and thought I was a hen.
