Muscoot Reservoir

Going to try to fish Muscoot tomorrow. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I haven’t fished it in years. My grandpa had a boat there not far from king kone. He didn’t renew after 9/11 and lost it. I still would fish it under the bridges. It has a nice variety of bass, pickerel and trout. No lake trout, too shallow. Are you fishing from boat or shore? I’d imagine the Rez’s are still quite cold so fish 25 feet deep or less

I will be fishing from shore. Just looking to catch a few pan fish.

When driving 684 I always see boats in here or when there's ice, Guys are stacked up there. Never fished it though

here's the spot I would suggest. There should be some parking on the side of the road. You can fish from the road or walk down along shore you will be casting towards that small island and will get yourself some crappie and/or yellow perch.

Thank you all for your guidance. I was a bit pressed for time yesterday but was able to fish Muscoot for about an hour. I fished the area adjacent to the route 138 bridge and a little further south by the old railroad bridge where I connected with 2 perch and a bluegill. Great day to be out.
