So lately  everything I eat steak . I get sick to my stomach  and it all comes back out . So had some blood work done guess what  I have. alpha-gal syndrome  . Yup must of got a bite from a tick that i didnt find . So weird . Now i have a doctors appointment  to see what we need to do .

Ugh!  Very sorry to hear!  This is one all of us hunters do not want to get.  I spoke with a turkey hunter from the NJ site years ago who was the first to ever get it up this way, took years to identify it because it came from Texas (Lone Star tick), which were thought to not be here at the time, and he never traveled away from the Northeast.  Turns out he had exactly this, and would talk about the delayed response (many hours later) which made it very difficult to figure out what was going on.  He eventually did his own research, and insisted his doctor test for this and low and behold it's what he had.  Hoping things change in the long run for the diagnosis, treatment, and effects!

Sorry to hear this. Hope the doc can come up with a way to get around this. Have you noticed any problem with venison, pork or dairy products?

No just steaks so far
