I live in northern tier. No doe tags for my area. Always pull a 7m tag and hunt georgetown. Have had some decent luck. Taking a few friends this year. They do not hunt very often need to put them on some deer. Any other decent spots in 7m? I usual hunt fire tower rd.

A little bit west, but Hieburg Forrest is just outside Tully, quick little drive from 81.  It’s in 7M

I've been hunting the Brookfield Stateland past couple years. AKA Charles E Baker State Forest. A straight shot down 12S for you. 9,400 acres. Big country. Could help you out with some info hunting there. 

A lot of public places in 7M to hunt south of Sangerfield. Prolly similar to Georgetown but more options I think.  Lmk.

There are not a lot of hunters in Heiberg but you can also go days without seeing a deer too lol. Opening day till noon there are more than normal but not like it was 25 years ago. Bring lots of friends and get the deer moving!! I will say there used to be a huge group that comes down from up north just to drive state land. They start at like 9am opening day some years. Not sure if they come every year now. But due to history and loss of ground I will most likely be there on the opener.
