G-man Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 While working back and forth to ohio ive noticed a huge lack of birds along the tracks. Usually have toms and groups of hens strutting on right of ways. There are none this year have seen 3 hens 1 jake and one lone tom in ohio... Dr Juice 1
Robhuntandfish Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 Usually by my hunting land out in the neighbors fields see Toms out there by now. Haven't seen a one. I keep an eye out for them to see if it's worth a try at my spot, haven't seen anything. mowin Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 I just started seeing birds in my spots. Usually they are around by mid March.
Buckmaster7600 Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 Haven’t heard a bird from my house in 2 weeks. Tracks in all the corn fields so I know they’re around. Hopefully it’s a fun youth season for my daughter on her last year of it. After that they’re safe unless I can get her out of bed during the season. I gave up turkey hunting our home farm a few years ago. turkeyfeathers 1
