If you have good credit, you could pay more for your mortgage to fund lower rates for less privileged.

Nuts. Nomad posted this in his daughter’s home search thread. So crazy and sad.

My brother lives in Grand Rapids Michigan.  Grocery stores have two prices. One inflated price you and I would pay, and a reduced price for those that are not so fortunate.  So not only does he pay into the system through taxes for this program, he has to pay more for food so that money can go into lower prices for others.

Another George Soros backed idea

It is important to consider the role of logic in politics, particularly when it comes to the influence of money on political campaigns. If a billionaire's money is funding individuals or policies that are objectively harmful to our country, there should be consequences. Punishments could include fines, legal action, or even the revocation of political funding privileges. Ultimately, the priority should be on promoting policies and candidates that prioritize the well-being of the country and its citizens, rather than serving the interests of a wealthy few.
billionaires who actively seek to destroy the system of this country should not be allowed to found organizations or political campaigns. When proven to be involved in such activities, they should be barred from participating in any form of political or social influence.

It's been said that individuals like Soros have been responsible for allowing some of the worst people to enter government and create chaos. Many believe that his financial contributions should be banned from politics, as his influence has been linked to the rise of numerous controversial figures. From the defunding of police to the idea of open borders, Soros' money has played a role in shaping some of the most divisive issues of our time.
This guy not founding demcrats like JFK or bill clinton he is founding way far left of them and its a problem.

Makes me very thankful that the best things in life, including food (wild game), is still free.

As I said in the last thread. I officially give up. I work hard got myself comfortable in life by buying what I could afford, getting a good amount of savings and a good credit score so my interest rate would be the best it can be.

Now screw it why shouldn’t I buy a home I can’t afford a brand new truck that’s costs as much as my first house. Tank my credit and deplete my savings account. The government and those that planned their life will bail me out.

Exactly how I feel, I’ve worked full time since I was 13. I’ve Dug myself out of an epic financial hole that my ex wife dug for me. Now I have a good job and live well within my means, built a very modest house with cash. All while my cousin whom hasn’t had an actual job in her life, has 5 kids from 5 different guys just bought a 300k house on some government bullshit! While driving a a nicer vehicle than me with the newest phones. It’s absolutely ass backwards and it really makes the folks that work and live in the real world feel like we’ve been doing it wrong.

I can’t remember who said this quote but it’s so very true! “There are only two ways to enslave a human, make them work without pay or pay them without work.”

The enslaved population that live off the government are the problem with this country and the left knows this. The left will continue promoting the government programs that continue to pay the lazy and irresponsible because with that they have the control over them!

I heard this got canceled and never took effect?

David Ramsey mentioned that the percentage has been significantly reduced to a small amount. It is unclear whether it is $6 for every good credit home purchase or $6 for every $100k spent.

It's difficult to determine how much of the funds actually reach the intended beneficiaries when dealing with bureaucratic systems. Often, a significant portion of the money gets funneled back into the bureaucracy through various schemes.
