Maybe they'll flip-flop. Lemon on Fox and Tuck on CNN. That would be fun :)

In the end, they're both entertainers. What's the old saying? "That's show-biz!"

It seems that those in power have taken notice of the growing divide within our country. They have chosen to target one individual from the left and one from the right, perhaps as a means of intimidating others into conforming to the traditional establishment views.

I remember  when Juan Williams- then a member of- " The Five" would go on Nightly Yelling Rants aimed at Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Waters. Mostly Gutfeld though.

I remember  thinking- this guy has got to go or ,I am not Tuning in.  And that is what happened.  Juan Williams was sent packing and his Temper is now on another show.

Maybe they recognize how fickle the extremes of their viewership are, and want to move towards the middle, where most folks reside in their political views. When factions of your viewers jump ship to whichever network/streaming service are better telling them what they want to hear, you're fighting an unwinnable battle.

The primetime shows on the cable "news" networks don't report the news, they service folks looking for political entertainment.

Maybe now that they are seeing how costly it is to pander to the extremes, they'll tamp down the sensationalism a bit.

Who knows, maybe we'll see a day where these "news" outlets start reporting the news.

Yep , It seems that both the left and right sides of the political spectrum view Tuker  as too far right and Don Lemon as too far left. As a result, it appears that both sides are attempting to move towards a more mainstream approach by getting rid of these individuals. There may have been some sort of back room deal made to facilitate this change.

These guys  in big media all know each other  no way that was a coincidence that they got fired at the same time.

Define costly, because if you fire the highest rated tv personality for 104 weeks at a average of 2.5 million viewers it would seem to be costly mistake. Now don lemon with 325,000 viewers not so costly. This coming from someone that did not watch either.

I don't believe Fox's ratings changed a heck of a lot when Glen Beck left, or when they fired Bill O'Reilly. Same with CNN and Chris Cuomo. More than likely, folks will latch on to the next firebrand, and the political blood pressure in the US will remain elevated, fueled daily injections of outrage from the respective "news" organizations.

It's a circus, and you're either part of it or a spectator :) I'm glad I pulled myself out of the ring a few years ago.
