blackbeltbill
So yesterday, I called up a Vocal and Unseen Gobbler that Skirted my position and Gobbled behind me- still unseen. I was using my Halloran Long Box. This happened last year also in the same area. Could be the same Old Bird. I am going to give this Sly Devil another shot next time out. This might be as close as,I get in New Jersey. Take The Multiple Use Area Challenge.
turkeyfeathers
I can’t dumb down a box call quiet enough when he’s getting closer. How close was he you guess? I run couple clucks and mostly purrs on the slate off to the side of my leg with scratching leaves around me. My Lynches 101 box call I’ve had for 40+ years rarely sees the woods.
