mowin
Yes. It's kit time. Same as coyote. They are out trying to feed the babies. grampy, Rusty, Phantom and 5 others 3 4
grampy
Kits gotta eat. Looked nice and healthy. I wouldn't worry about it. Fox will be more active at night. But not unusual to see them during daylight hours too. Dr Juice, GreeneHunter, Bucksnbows and 3 others 3

Bucksnbows
I often see them hunting in the woodlot behind the house, but this one was out front. And always during the day. 2BuckBizCT, GreeneHunter, grampy and 1 other 4 "A sinking fly is closer to Hell" - Anonymous https://www.troutscapes.com https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board

Stubborn1vt
Both parents will hunt to feed the kits. At least they did last spring when they raised 7 under our horse barn. Phantom
Cabin Fever
Many people are under the assumption that if they see a fox or raccoon out during the day, it automatically means they're sick or rabid. Certainly NOT the case... Phantom
hueyjazz
My home is in the woods on top of a mountain. We have a fox den nearby. Last year I watched a mom also daily with her kits. The two kits played like puppies and mom kept them feed. A distance away is a farm with chickens but that didn't stop mom from going down the lowlands. I got chicken parts scattered around at least weekly. I pretty much got up early every morning to watch this show as it was excellent entertainment. Kits would play and mom was off by creek watching and likely hunting. And oh, the squirrels did disappear.
