So this thread is sort of just me complaining about ordering from cabelas online but I’m doing it because it happens all The time. 
 

I don’t know about you guys but I am one that likes instant gratification. When I order something online if overnight shipping isn’t crazy I will often do it. So I ordered something from cabelas Sunday night and overnight shipping was 20 bucks. Any way I opted for overnight shipping. Now I don’t expect that it will ship Sunday night I know that isn’t realistic. But it should have shipped on Monday.. and it did but at 8pm way past the FedEx pickup time for them. So anyway tracking says I will have it Wednesday. I dont know what you guys think but if a customer pays for overnight shipping it should be picked and leave the warehouse in time to make that happen. Anyway this has happened the last 3 times I did this from them and I always call and they refund my shipping. It’s just annoying and I wanted to make this childish rant

This is very childish. And lol I totally understand!!

 

I ordered an item from Bass this week. Next day order canceled out of stock. Go on site shows still in stock. Order again next day canceled again. It's still listed on site. If you ain't got it take it off or marked out of stock!! Sons of beeches!!

I can promise you this, driving 20min to the retail store is no less of a PIA. If you need it, they are sold out, if you have a question they have no great answers, BUT if you want to go and hear some serious "hunting tales" just chat with any of the sales staff there especially those over 50..... meh

haven't bought much from them in a while. Ever since bass pro bought them I found the quality of their apparel really lacking and generally gravitated towards scentlok stuff, but even they have floundered. Now it's mostly first lite and nomad. It's a shame because I've spent a lot of money there over the years on good stuff and most of it I still have today. Their youth section isn't too bad either. Otherwise, and I hate to say it but mostly everything else is cheaper, free shipping and faster from amazon or walmart.

The closest cabelas to me is almost 2 hours bass pro is over an hour

I used to make the trip to Hartford once a year and spend a bunch of money.  I even had their credit card!  Their customer service was excellent and American.  When they sold to Bass Pro the card went to capital one, canceled.  Then they started carrying over 50% Bass/Redhead crap and I just bailed on everything.  Now I'm a KUIU whore.

I agree. That's crap man  next day means next day. They owe it back to you.

haha i laughed more than I should at this because it's so true and same for dicks. I'll be in there 5 minutes to buy some doe pee and I swear I overhear 2 or 3 crazy ass stories and at least one guy who doesn't understand or know the rules. It was maybe around 10/10 this year and some guy was bragging to another guy about a big 10 his buddy shot down in canandaigua with his crossbow.
