Time for a rebuild...

My original box  blind that has been moved 3x was in need  of a rebuild and  lift..  nice project this time  of year.more bracing and siding then door and windows

 Should have done by next week i hope.

My Sawmill is earning its keep....

Done but railing and windows..  gonna make sliding drop down windows for  it.

Looks great.  I wish I could have one where I hunt, but the landowner doesn't like the looks of them.

Started  making them  for the  oldest member  in camp whos 75 now..  but younger guys dont seem  to mind them  either...

I don't blame them.  I'm thinking about building one on a 4x8 trailer and see if the landowner will approve if I remove it at the end of the season.  Wouldn't be elevated, but still be warm in cold weather.

I've found smallest id go  5x 5 or 5x 6 to 8,  6x6 to be ideal if your going to use a heater  or bow/ crossbow..
