mowin
Well since my nephews almost lost a 20k mower this morning, I'm thinking I need to add a fire extinguisher to my new mower. I'm thinking a ABC extinguisher, but I know we have a couple fire fighters here, so I figured it'd ask the experts.
Lawdwaz
Bump for snoozing firefighters............ Although I don't know the details, last week a lawnmower in a garage in Clarence Center caught on fire and supposedly did $370,000 in damage. https://www.wgrz.com/article/news/local/crews-respond-clarence-center-house-fire/71-4962e3a7-e520-4463-b8ce-9e0d3ad4c45d mowin

As far as laws post, I leave my mower outside till it cools down before putting it in my garage, that’s not the first house lost to a hot mower placed near combustibles . My nephew who does lawn care also, had a mower catch fire today. He was trimming the lawn, and smelled something burning. He looked at his mower, and it has a two foot flame above the seat. Lucky, there was a few planters next to the mower and he smothered the fire with the dirt.
