Elmira here I come...again

2 of my Golfers qualified for the New York State Golf tournament at Mark Twain on June 4th- 5th.

Depending on my own kids baseball schedule(hopefully they are still playing-semifinal for sectionals start this Saturday for them), I will hopefully fish my way out on Saturday 6/3 and find some free time Sunday to fish any streams you recommend out there. Will fish my way home(West Branch, Beaverkill , neversink) on Monday my way home.

Also taking my food recommendations for Elmira!!!

i believe our very own @turkeyfeathers competed in this very event a few moons ago!

What will your golfers do while you fish- just watch from shore?

What do all golfers do when they are done golfing...probably have some beers and lie about their score and blame the course for their poor play?

I'll be there as a pure spectator and will volunteer some time to help out the actual  Section 1 coaches. It's an odd system but our Section1 team is made up of golfers from various schools in Section 1(none from Mahopac but 1 from Yorktown) and the coaches of the Section 1 team are coaches from any schools in Section 1(one doesn't even have a kid at the tourney).

Interesting. so the Yorktown kid is in 8th grade???? and three kids with O' ! I've never even met 1 person with a last name starting with O'
