Friggin' Cats!

Rabbits have had 3 litters of babies in my mulch around the house so far this spring, that I know of. Two litters were already wiped out by what I would guess are feral cats and a cat already got started on the other litter! Watched it eat one as it struggled to get away on my Ring cam last night, the bastard. There's only 4 houses on my road and no one has any cats. There's farms ~3/4 of a mile away, so I'm not sure if the cats are venturing that far or if they're feral. There's 4-5 of them and pretty much only around at night. I think they're feral, as they seem wild and bolt when they see me... with good reason though

This is terrible. What’s the law on this? Can you target them like with other predators or do you legally have to trap and release to the pound?

As much time as the cats spend around my house, people would probably think they belong here! The damn things make my Ring security cams go off all night! They lounge on my deck and patio furniture and try to get under my Blackstone cover, probably smelling the food I cooked and the grease trap. Really pisses me off the number of rabbit litters they've wiped out in my yard already!

I miss our cat. She kept ,the moles in check and never saw a mouse around . Now the mice nested under my rear steps , and got in my garage as well . A bunch of traps , sealing up some openings , spreading some mice repellent around seems to taken care of them for now . I’m sure once we leave again in the winter they’ll be back .

The cat used to line them up along the patio door , like you guys hang deer heads on your walls .

I have same cat problem at my house. Stupid things are all over my woods every day and on my ring camera every night at the house.

Feral cats are more protected than house cats it seems.. Last I checked Feral cat "removal" cost like $2,000-$5,000 ticket..

I have cats all over at my house, the neighbors all have them and let them roam, Baby birds and bunnies don't re populate well here either. Some have un spade males that piss all around my house and it wreaks terribly when the sun beats on it.. I cant stand it..

I looked yesterday and there was only 1 baby rabbit left in the nest. I noticed this morning that the nesting material was scattered all around. I took a peek inside the nest, but there was no one home. That damned friggin’ feral cat  must have completely wiped that nest out too! That makes 3 rabbit nests wiped out, just in my yard! Had 2 feral cats on my Ring cams last night.
