left field Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 There's an older shotgun in PA that I want to buy. I assume it has to go through an FFL there but is it easier to do there or have it shipped here? My Instagram
grampy Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 I find it easiest to have the seller use their local FFL. To have it shipped to my local FFL. cervidchasers and Bucksnbows 2
Splitear Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 If it's close to drive, then I think you can buy from an FFL or do a transfer at one in PA and transport it back to NYS (though I could be wrong, and regardless, I would check with the seller so you don't have any surprises). Other than than, an FFL to FFL transfer would probably be best.
left field Posted November 18, 2022 Author Posted November 18, 2022 It's two hours. I guess I'll just have it shipped as my transfers usually take a few days. Thanks. My Instagram

In my case, because I'm a Permanent Resident of the US, it just gets hung up for a few days. My Instagram
