RIP Dan..

Recommended Posts

Dan lost his battle with cancer yesterday at 10:21 pm.  We never left his side for the past two days.  We went down stairs to get some air, and he passed. I truly believe he didn't want all of us, mostly his wife and son, to remember him taking his last breath, and waited for us to leave.  I learned a lot from him over the years.  Lots of hunting and fishing memories.

His first deer in Nov '69 and his last November of last year.

RIP my brother. Say hi to your boys and mom and dad for me.

My heartfelt condolences Rob, and to all of Dan's family and friends. He will live on in your hearts and memories. He will speak to you through the whisper of the gentle breeze through the trees. You will feel his warm touch on a cold November morning. You'll again embrace in the hour before you wake. RIP Mr Dan.

Damn, sorry to hear this. I hope you're able to find some comfort in the days to come. One thing that helped me a lot when I lost my grandfather was just going for a slow walk in the woods. There some therapy in that and it may be helpful to you.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
