Anyone Else Have This Problem? HuntingNY is down

   It might be my Phone- not sure. 

   I can access 4 Hunting Sites,Facebook and the Hunting Groups there,etc.

 Last 2 Days,I can't bring  up huntingny.com. It reads- Host Error code- 522. 

  The initial  connection  between  Cloudflare's network and the origin web server timed out. As a result, the web page  can not be displayed.

  Active poster between both NY sites and no problem  with the Mayor the last Month. Posted until 3 days back. 

 Probably  my phone. I will try again later.  Anyone still active there have this same problem?

Just tried... Nothing. If the owner pulled the plug, it's pretty pathetic that he didn't give members a courtesy heads up.

and the guys that were left swore it'd never die. I went back a few weeks ago just to see how it was going. I think the live from the woods thread was only 3 or 4 pages and there was another thread about how May came and went and it was still alive inspiring hope.

I don't have any ill will against the site and most of the remaining members but wish it was still what it once was. But when you don't allow new members, there's no active owner and the remaining group actually believe less traffic on a site is better... well eventually it's going to die.

My favorite forum's of all time was a car forum for the late pontiac grand prix. Man i learned so much there. After I sold the car in 09, I still hung out in the off-topic section with some real good guys. One day it just went poof. Some guys I'd consider friends that I'll never know how to find or contact again, that's the real shame.

Unfortunately I can't as it was renewed for 5 years, so regardless of what the owner does, it will sit there whether the site is up or down.

so bizarre. Can you see when it was renewed? Like recently or a year or so ago? Assuming maybe he just shut down the hosting server or something independent from the domain name that has reoccurring cost?

Renewed 04/02/2023.  No way to tell if it was an automated renewal or the owner actually had to do something manual.  Regarding the host server, entirely possible he shut it down or something happened with the host and he doesn't know or doesn't care.  Also possible he didn't pay his host bill and they shut it down.
