Welp, yesterday was interesting. Capt Ant reports we started our eels only trip with a steady pick of upper slots. We had to take a little break though and return to the dock for a customer. We returned exactly 75 minutes later and on the first drift back we had 0ver 35 fish on and in on a mile long drift. It was like divine intervention making up for the lost time. Needless to say we limited. Few over 40, many 30s. Not a ton of pics tonight bc there was no time and most groups took their own. Thanks to all for participating and understanding. Another great crowd.
Capt Jake ran the day boat and when we had a drift, we caught. A few quality too with a 6.2lber and a 5.4lber. Fluking is definitely starting to improve as we’re finding them everywhere.
