We went to the Professional Rodeo finals here in Colorado Thursday night.   It was a sold out crowd.   In addition to the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner, they opened in prayer.   And this was no rote cookie cutter prayer.   This was a genuine heartfelt prayer to their Heavenly Father in the name of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Every person there pledged the flag and stood quietly and respectfully while they prayed.   It did my heart good to know that there are still places like this left in America!

God and country.

That's what the values of this nation were based upon.

Not woke and broke.

As off course as things may seem at times, God is still firmly in control. I know that I leaned real hard on my Savior Jesus Christ last week, to complete a mission that seemed nearly impossible.  As usual, He came through just like He will for anyone else if they would just give Him a chance.

Indeed. Pre Tribulation Rapture is definitely  near as well.

Come on Bill, you’ve been saying that for years.  It is written, that “nobody knows the time or place”.   But, It is also written, to “always keep plenty of oil in you lamps”, for exactly that reason.

In case folks struggle with what that means, it means to believe in Jesus Christ, that He is the son of God, and that His death on the cross paid your sin debt in full.

That’s not all that complicated.  There is no need to over think it.

“Child like” faith is where it’s at.

Although, I am agnostic , probably closer to being an athiest , I like to see this as well.

A lot of good can come out of belonging to this community and following these beliefs.

I’m not sure what exactly those terms mean, but it certainly takes an awful lot of faith to believe that there is no God.  Heck, even modern science can be used to prove that you can’t get something from nothing.

That pretty much proves that there is a God, otherwise how could you be here ?

Wolc,I like you Man. We simply look at 1st Corinthians/15- 1-4 and 1st Thessalonians/ 15- 18 differently. Among other passages.

Let's leave it there my friend and move on.

I learned long ago not to debate religion,  unless it's among close friends.

Sadly people don’t realize that.  The universe, life, and the diversity of life we have could not exist without a creator.   Science has confirmed that!   Unfortunately you will never see this science in public schools or any mainstream media.

It just boggles my mind how some could believe that something could come  from nothing , or that new life does not begin at conception.  Science and Religion are on the same side confirming that.
