What's your family specialty dish for Thanksgiving?

Everyone has that one family dish that is a must for Thanksgiving. Mine is wild rice dressing.  And any new family member that has joined along the years has agreed and always requests it after.  I usually also have to make it again during the year with some venison.  Also would be great with duck. 

It's pretty simple.  Cook and break up breakfast sausage then add mushrooms, uncle Ben's wild rice cooked in chicken stock, diced onion, and just a dash of nutmeg. Mix together and bake thru for about 1/2 hr.  

This year I used some Basillos Thanksgiving sausage in it.  

What's yours?

I still make my father's pork/bread/celery/green apple/sage/thyme stuffing!

and cranberry sauce MUST be sliced in discs from a can damnit!!!!

Moms stuffing.  I can't replicate it. My sister gets it close, but even she says it's not mom's..

Lol.  My MIL made homemade cranberry sauce one yr. I was going through her cupboard looking for a can of it..

Fresh cranberries,  follow directions on the package, easy and you'll never go back.

Our tastes are usually so similar- how can you be so wrong with that red stuff!!!!

Dry ass turkey and my moms stuffing. I love sides. Usually don’t take but one small piece of turkey then fill the rest with sides.
