Robhuntandfish Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 (edited) Everyone has that one family dish that is a must for Thanksgiving. Mine is wild rice dressing. And any new family member that has joined along the years has agreed and always requests it after. I usually also have to make it again during the year with some venison. Also would be great with duck. It's pretty simple. Cook and break up breakfast sausage then add mushrooms, uncle Ben's wild rice cooked in chicken stock, diced onion, and just a dash of nutmeg. Mix together and bake thru for about 1/2 hr. This year I used some Basillos Thanksgiving sausage in it. What's yours?
