Up and in. The boy is in the tower for his first and last sit of the year. I'm down in Stone Stand. Lil sprinkle off and on. Hope I don't get too wet! Hope the boy sees something.

Caped out buck, looks like he had an injury to one side of jaw.

In for a final sit. Sat in same spot 2 nights ago and had a bunch come by right at dark but I was hoping a specific buck was with them. Two other bucks were but not the one I was hoping for. Tonight I'm not going to let the does all go by if they show.

Bumped a herd of deer while walking in. They were concerned, not frightened so there’s a possibility of them circling back before shooting time ends. Good luck to all of us who are in it until the very end. I love this last hour. Even if I see nothing it’s a time to enjoy all of my efforts this year.

None of us hunted PM hunt.  Everyone was happy with the season and instead we’re gathered with families at camp for a feast.  Fresh deer liver pate appetizer and venison sausage  lasagna.   Cheers to good friends and full freezers!

Done-zo. Ride to Ohio in AM for wheeler and some cam work. But time to clean pack and rest!

No hunting for us today as we wanted to get everything processed. The 5 of us started skinning around 10 this morning, and we finished up at 4:30. All 8 deer are processed and in the freezer.

No deer were harmed here on last stand! Good season overall!

Didn’t see a deer today but cut a fresh buck track that had a good stride. I could fit my ml in between steps but I didn’t have enough time and ran out of light.  Wish I got one of the big ones I was after but still very happy with the season I had.

Quiet morning out here today.
