mowin Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Well, I get a call from my wife, who was crying so hard, I couldn't understand her. Finally got her calmed down enough to decipher she hit a deer. Car is 4 weeks old, and I'm thinking " how much damage?". Momma ran out in front of her, she swerved, but Jr wasn't far behind. Unfortunately, or fortunately, she hit and killed the fawn. She was more upset about it being a fawn, than anything else.. One little cracked piece of trim. Sucks she hit a fawn, but $100 piece of trim is much better than several grand in damages and a accident on record for the car. G-man, grampy, Kayak Ken and 2 others 3 2

grampy Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Glad the wife is OK! That's the most important thing. Cars can be fixed. And does can make more fawns. Doebuck1234 and mowin 2
dbHunterNY Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Could've been far worse like the others said. Just tell her it died quickly vs getting eaten alive by coyotes or bears. Lol damage made out well too. I know people that waited a year or more for parts and they're car getting fixed. Never would've thought you'd have to ever wait that long. mowin 1
