Northcountryman Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 About 5-6 yrs ago, I had a game ear device for sound enhancement and used it a few times while hunting. As i recall, i didnt really like it cuz sometimes when id turn it on and adjust it would squeal which aint good while deer hunint!! I was thinking about trying again, though to see if the newer versions are superior . Anyone use a game ear and, if so, do you like it?
DDT Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 We went to New Brunswick once on a bear hunt and the fellow that owned Walkers game ear was there in camp. I wasn't that impressed with the ones they had at the time. Since, I think they are better with Bluetooth and improved. I don't think a squeal is going to bother the deer, sounds like a bird or critter. As long as you don't react with fast movement. Alot of times a hunter makes a reaction that could alarm the deer.
mowin Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 I've thought about getting a pair, but I do a lot of hunting within 100 yrds of the Berkshire spur. 18 wheelers hitting the rumble strips would rattle me out of the stand. 😂 Northcountryman 1
