Capt Ant reports an overall solid meat harvesting trip today on the Full Day trip. Block Island island conditions were a little challenging this morning with wind against tide. We picked some nice fat ones at the start with the King of the island Stevie B having 3 on the first two drifts(eventually limiting w 6 total) Macs and Mike also had the bite down right away. Mike limited while Kalvis had 3 beautys. We poked around with nice Sea Bass coming up at every stop. Mid trip we changed zones and extended our trip as rods were bending around the boat with both species. Dave from NYC,aka Ronnie James Dio nailed a 7.5lber not only winning the big pool but hitting the Lucky 7s contest worth $120. We rallied to get our boat limit of Seabass and send our friends home with bags of North Atlantic protein. One other thing to note was that precious Liam was bested by Dad today. Back at half day the rest of the week. Watching the weather for Fridays new Full Day Fluke-a-thon.
