Nomad Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Pretty good prices if you’re near Red Creek . A side note ,our daughter buys organic chicken from a farm in Brockport real organic not the Wegmans organic . Here’s a pic of the farm organic and Wegmans “ organic .” Spaceman Spiff 1
2BuckBizCT Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 (edited) Great prices. We pay $8.99 to $10.99/lb every week for Bell & Evans chicken depending on the week. But 40lbs is a lot. We just buy weekly and never freeze. Defrosting never tastes the same IMO Edited July 28, 2023 by 2BuckBizCT

I’ve ate tons of yellow perch too, lots of LMB from unnamed ponds and drank from tons of streams as a kid. But I know better now to at least buy wild salmon (not farmed). Btw, lobster for $8/lb? What restaurant? Edited July 28, 2023 by 2BuckBizCT

Caveman Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Holy crap. I was mad when the standard, steroid and antibiotic laden Aldi chicken went from $2/lb to $2.50/lb. If I ever paid $10/lb for chicken I think I'd have a heart attack.
