Walmart Ammo Shopping

   I needed 1 more box of Winchester SuperX in #4s for the upcoming Pheasant  Season. 

    While there,I have never seen so much Steel Shot in 12 Gauge and 20 Gauge as well. Decided to stock up some with 2 Boxes of 12 Gauge#6s and 1 Box of 20 Gauge#7s.

In Red and White on the Top caught my attention- LF-- Lead Free Shot.

   Seems to be selling out quick. Putting mine away in case That Lead Ban goes through. I probably  should go back in the near future and pick up some more.

 Huge stack of the New Regs Guide and,I asked for one .

  Hey- only a 15 minute wait to get help coming my way. Another guy was there to get a Fishing  License. 

  I could feel the Cameras zooming in on me as,I checked out the Locked up Ammo-lol. Just having fun here people .

Just a thing i do figure out how much ammo you  use in season and buy 2 x more and over time you are good for a very very long time .

I would hope you still have a key to the ammo case after all your years there......

I’m the kind of guy that wants lots of ammo in stock so that if I get an invite I can just grab and go. 
 

In these uncertain times with background checks and lead ammo band looming it’s always a good idea to stock up and diversify. Good job.

walmart is perfect for cheaper end prices. for whatever reason they don't seem to give a damn about supply versus demand. standard markup percentage and that's that. I've seen they got 100 rnd bricks back in for 12 and 20 ga general purpose game and target loads.

with the lead ban on state land I had already picked up some non lead general purpose loads for kicking bushes. walmart's in cities like here in albany always have plenty of rifle stuff stocked. like the ghetto has no need for hunting rifles. lol

  I don't  know when the State Land proposed Lead Ban goes into effect-( crazy)--but this Fall and Spring Turkey Hunting Fanatic now has plan B with Steel .

Not passed into law. Senate bill 2023-S4976A and assembly bill 2023-A2084A are both stuck in committee this session. Overnight that could change. Our only saving grace is Cornell, DEC, DOH, and other entities put together a Lead Ammunition Working Group that determined out right bans aren't the best way to go about transitioning to non-lead ammunition. That will only hold back legislators and agendas for so long though.
