Back in January my dog Henry died. I went from I’ll never have another to maybe someday to casually scrolling the web over the last few months. Then yesterday I come across exactly what I’m looking for down in PA I’m reading through the info and the picture with the puppies parents and owners come up and they look very familiar but it’s a low quality picture that I can’t make bigger. So I look at the location and I realize the people in the picture are my best friend from the Marine Corps brother and sister in law. 
 

Now maybe I was just looking for the excuse to get a puppy but I believe stuff happens for a reason and the luck of finding a lab puppy 4.5hrs from home that’s being sold by someone I know is enough to convince me that they have my dog.  They’ve got 4 males left for me to chose from 2 chocolate and 2 black so the trucks packed and I’m southbound.

I was thinking about getting a dog 9 years ago.  Was considering it and thinking either a beagle, Australian shepherd, or a golden ret.    Then one of my staff asks if I would be interested in a pup.  She said her niece has a 6 month old dog but they took on too much with kids and then a dog and they had a 2 yr old and 4 yr old kid and a pup was too much for them. I also what kind and they said 1/2 beagle and 1/2 Australian shepherd.  Well if that ain't meant to be..... So got the best dog I've ever had.  

Congrats on a new pup and yes pics are a must!

I need a divine intervention like this if I could ever convince my wife into having a dog again.  She misses our dogs, but she really doesn't miss them....

Haha, take 2 and drop one off at my house, that might work!
