Might be a long shot, but thought I'd ask... I was given a 32 Win Special that belonged to my favorite uncle. Unfortunately, I've called all around and searched online, but can't locate any ammo for it. Any chance someone here would have some ammo or know who has some in stock? It would sure mean a lot for me to put some meat in the freezer with this gun.

I will check at a local place that I saw had it before.  I noticed it cause my brother has one. It's his only rifle and ammo is probably 40 years old if he even has any as hasnt hunted in 30 years.

Otherwise you might be waiting a bit. You don't see this often even when ammo was available.  Good luck and will keep an eye out for it.

Not sure where you are, but Barber's Firearms in Westfield PA has a lot of oddball ammo.

It's right over the state line.

Thanks! I just sent them an email!

Wow! Ammo seek has only two hits. One for cowboy action ammo and one for green box Remington but it’s a sketchy looking site. Plus 95 a box.

Good luck. Most likely you’re just going to walk into a shop and find a few boxes.

If you or know someone who reloads you can make 32 ws brass out of 30-30 brass. It's straight forward process of just running a 32ws sizing die though 30-30 bass and check the case length and there you go 32ws brass.

Winchester, federal and Hornady still make it but it’s in limited runs. Remington did but I haven’t seen it in a while. It’s going to be something that when you see it on the shelf buy it and buy a bunch. If you’re good with any gun shops have them put it on their orders for you so when it becomes available they’ll get some.

Its been several years but I used to go to various gun shows. There was a guy there that specialized in oddball/discontinued ammo in addition to more common loads. I bought some canadian manufacture .38-40 ammo and some .250 Savage. I believe the guy was from the Schenectedy- Albany area.

I stopped at the place I saw the .32 win today but they didn't have any.  Hope you found some to use.

Wasn't a wasted trip I picked up an extra box of 30-06 and .450 bushmaster though.
