Bass pro is having a trade in sale.  Trail cams, binoculars, boots.

I've got a cellular stealth cam that doesn't work and can't get any CS from them, so I'm thinking it's a good time to replace it get a little money off a tactacam.

Now a ta ta cam is a product I would get :D

I think I'll fix that, lol.  Funny, leaving one letter out definitely changes things.

according to the fine print it says "working". Not sure if they really check or not, but just a heads up. I too have a bunch of broken old ones I keep for decoys, but I also have some that take bad pics but turn on, so that's a thought too.

My stealth cam works, just not on cell. I doubt they will activate it, and check that part out.

Several of calls that I was on hold for hr at a time, emails, all polite starting last August through December were not answered. No response at all.

Stealth cams are know for not working. My first one was a stealth. Never worked right out of the box. Luckily  I got it through dicks and got it covered. They took it back and upgraded to a Bushnell. Those have worked for 10 yrs now.

Stealth Cam = worst customer service of all time, worldwide. I defy anyone to find a worse company!  Don’t get me started.

To be honest, it's GSM outdoors. They own a dozen+ companies. Walker, Muddy, Stealth Cam, to name a few. Call CS on any of there brands, and you get GSM, then the shaft..

I still have my very first Bass Pro Shops purchase.  I bought the Eagle Silent 60 depth finder that’s now on the council of my boat for my first row-boat, back in 1981.  I wouldn’t want to trade it in, because it still works very good, and a “modern” replacement is not available at any price.

It tracks the depth at wide open throttle with the 70 hp outboard.  The lighted red flasher beam is very easy to see, from all over the back of the boat,  at night while trolling and the intensity is adjustable for bright light conditions.    It still spins silent, unlike several Humminbird flashers, that I have worn out up front on the bow platform.

I always liked having a Lawrance transducer on the back, and a Huminbird on the front, because they run different frequencies and don’t interfere with each other.  The “hum” from the Huminbirds was always annoying though, unless the wind was blowing hard.

I have a Garmin combination GPS unit up front now.  The best thing about that, is that it runs quiet.  I would still prefer to have an old style flasher with adjustable intensity beam up there, but no one makes them anymore.

I generally like muddy. Not 100% of the time as I've had some minor quality issues, but nothing that I couldn't fix. You can for sure tell they do everything they can to push margin over quality though.
