A nice buck and series... and a buck that had close call

passed this 2 year old 8 several times  during bow.. looks like he made it through opening week with a close call.

Really nice deer, in 8N area it would be tagged up for sure. 4pt is a shooter for my neighbors'.

Great pics and very nice buck.  Hopefully he makes it and will recover from the wound.  I wonder if it impact his development perhaps next year he  may be non typical?  If he continues to be a good hider and avoids deer drives and infection he has a decent chance of blowing up.  GL  G!
