I planted 6 young maples for a client a few falls back.  I wrapped them, and she didn't like the looks, so had me removed the wrap even though I warned her.  Yep, couple weeks later she wakes up to a small buck just thrashing them.

A fresh buck rub with the shavings on the ground is beautiful to look at. Even better when those shavings are on a freshly killed buck's bases.
