Pull behind mowers

Recommended Posts

It is not as good as a normal brushhog but can maintain trails /field well if you use it more often.  I found it much harder to start new trails  or knock down a tall grass field. But do use it to maintain when 8 to 10 in high.

They are good for cutting or maintaining light weight fields and maintaining trails. If your looking to get into knocking heavier thicker stem count down, get a tow behind flail mower, it will still cut the grasses and trails, but the flail can also scratch the soil surface too..

The tow behind i have is rough cut and not a finish mower.  It will go thru smaller saplings and 3-4 ft grass and weeds but it is def not brush hog.  We have to cut larger stuff and large clumps before using the cutter on an area, but it amazes me how well it works.  We both enjoy getting out and cutting every summer with it. But most anything you can run over with the wheeler it cuts.
