I wish I didn’t have to report Block island fishing was less than mediocre. But we are committed to transparency. Conditions were horrendous. Our first drift was the fastest at .3 and we actually had some nice biscuits a keeper fluke and some shorts. Optimism until wind came up tide turned and we started the evacuation process. Our second stop at Block was promising as well on drift one but drift 2 gooseegg. Shut down. 3rd stop just flat out stunk with exception of a few nice Seabass. We poked back to the west and once we got some flood tide it was game on. Last hour of trip put a dozen on the boat including a 7.25 and 6.5lber. Angelo was high hook with 3. John took the pool and Pete gets honorable mention with the most overall fluke. There were a few Seabass limits as well.
