If you're a member of other outdoor related sites you probably have gotten or will get notice about Tapatalk being removed.  VerticalScope is removing it from their sites stating a change in Tapatalk ownership driving the decision.

Same exact wording from a completely different forum:

We originally granted Tapatalk access to our forum in order to provide a better mobile experience for our members. Last month, Tapatalk notified us that they are changing ownership. After reviewing their service, other forums’ experiences, and member feedback, we have decided to wind down Tapatalk’s access to Woodworking Talk on Sep 21, 2023. This means that Woodworking Talk will no longer be available on Tapatalk after that date.

Yeah VS owns a ton of forums (even ArcheryTalk now).  No idea why they continued to use Tapatalk in the first place, but they certainly have other plans now whether providing their own app or just forcing users to use a browser instead.  As I've said many times in the past, Tapatalk has some questionable practices and security, it's unsurprising anyone would want to drop them.  From a user perspective it's a perceived loss due to the benefit of multi-forum unification, but from a site owner perspective Tapatalk is a liability.
