nywaw Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 80 years old, no sleep for 61+ years, 70 cigarettes and 1/2 liter of rice wine EVERY DAY! Watching the video, I think he "rests" for 1-2 hours a day, maybe he sleeps a little but very little if at all. I can't get over how he can smoke and drink that much and still be alive. Unreal!
dbHunterNY Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 I knew a guy who had insomnia. he never really slept. he didn't smoke or drink but had to constantly snack all day long. if he didn't eat his body would pretty much shutdown he said.
2BuckBizCT Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 I'll never understand how anyone falls asleep while hunting. You wait all year to maybe have 20-30 sits each fall to hunt, and then people doze off! it blows my mind. Belo and Gobbler Chaser 1 1

And pop up around Midnight or so. Martial Arts Training for an hour or so. And Coffee as well. That is why members will see my posts pop up around 1.30am or so. Back to Bed and up by 6.30-7am. Been doing this for many years now. No idea how you get up, do all that and go back to bed. I sleep 6 hours a night or so, am full bore mentally with my job all day. If I stop, I'll crash and want to sleep so I just keep going.

Buckmaster7600 Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 (edited) We’re so short staffed that the State has basically turned their head to our rules for how many hours we can work. For the last 6 months or so I’ve set my schedule so I only drive to work once a week and stay for seven 8 hour shifts and head home after 56hrs straight. It’s really not that bad and I’ve gotten very used to it. Edited September 14, 2023 by Buckmaster7600

If you don't mind the hours, congrats on the early retirement! Buckmaster7600 1
