Sauna?

Anybody into saunas?  New house has one in the room that will become my wife’s office.  I told her to give me a month to see if I like it (and relocate it) or sell it.

I’ve literally never been in a sauna in my life.  Relaxing?  Good for you? European?  This one was apparently never used.

I plan on putting a woodfired one in the sugarshack I am building...they are supposed to be very good for your health.

Just came home from an 8 day cruise , 7 of which were in a Hot Tub - little different but same results ! Love It !

A sauna has many health benefits.  Be great to jump into it after a long cold day of hunting!!!

When I worked out at the Y I used one there quite often ,I loved it . Also when I worked at the safe company they had a complete work out center including a pool ,hot tub and sauna .

If they wanted me to wear a suit  they should’ve put up a sign ….

On a side note, my new house has a sump pump in the basement which is new for me.

But I was relieved to see the setup.  Liberty pump with Liberty water-powered backup... Nomad approved!

Liberty makes good pumps and right here in Bergen !  See how much the main pump runs in the spring , my daughters crock has cobwebs in the pipes . My back up ran for three days during a power outage during a very wet spring .

Many water issues are resolved outside with grading and extending downspouts . I’m grading at her house tomorrow as there is one spot where it slopes to the house .

Back on topic , I do not have room thank you very much .

Im simplifying my life , sold the camper, boat, waiting for the 20 year old hot tub to die .

Only a short 4 months later but I finally got around to moving the sauna out of my wife’s office and into the basement.  It’s definitely relaxing to use now and then, but I’m yet to try a real regimen.  This move might trigger it.
