In tradition with the other forum, here is the first "red barn" pic of the season. This early muzzleloader season brute from KS has the shortest haired cape I've ever mounted with lots of  summer guard hairs left in it. One down for the '22 season, about 35 to go...

Awesome work as always. One day I will have a red barn deer hanging there!

Dunno if you have a name for your shop/business.  But Red Barn Taxidermy would sure fit.

well this forum is now official. my season hasn't been slow. passed over half a dozen bucks and some on multiple occasions opening weekend alone. not much at all for shooters though and many younger bucks with potential got taken this year. did manage to get some to donate capes to a taxidermist that doesn't charge those who need one though. season isn't over. hopefully my busy schedule allows me to get out there some more. you can tell its a short haired cape but looks great jason.
