New York carry law was overturn, why wouldn't a mag law be? Yea thats what I think I mean the constitution is on are side but they know how to work the system to delay things from changing for years. It does not even stop crime anyway most of these laws, you think the guy who breaks the law of not killing someone cares if his gun is what they want you to have . And he could always use something else anyway like a knife . These laws only effect the Law Abiding Citizen not criminals. Kayak Ken 1

Just like the last couple it takes 3 years or so to get overruled. Then in 30 days the state legislature passes an even more restrictive bill with different wording and then that takes three years to overturn. In the meantime your a felon if you don't abide or be prepared to spend money and time in court and possibly lose your job as an outcome. If you think anything down the line will be less restrictive then you have your head in the sand. It's not going the other way again ever. Every law that comes out in NY regarding firearms will be of further restriction. They certainly are!! But the reality is, we live in a liberal state. That protects criminals more than victims. Until this state gets enough votes to toss out the madness. It will be business as usual for the anti gun crowd in Albany. And as Rob stated above, they will just continue to stall, and rewrite laws, to get around anything the courts do.

The public has a short memory, so if nothing bad happens for a long time, all the gun nonsense will go away. In reality, while you may think it's the politicians who create laws, it's actually just a few billionaires who pull the strings. It depends on what they want, not what we, the people, want."

cas Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 You see how well the CCW thing is working out, we can only expect more of the same. Better in theory, worse in reality. Robhuntandfish 1

Mike103 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 I’ll be honest I don’t know what to believe anymore. I thought the SC would save us but it’s been years and things just get worse. Nomad, Robhuntandfish, grampy and 1 other 4
